Acoustic Ballad

While all music was initially acoustic, the term " acoustic ballad " only became popular following the introduction of electric instruments such as the electric guitar, electric violin, electric organ, and synthesizer.

Acoustic ballad is music that employs only or predominantly acoustic instruments to generate sound.

Acoustic ballads often use string instruments (guitars, violins, cellos), wind instruments, percussion, ensemble instruments.
Of course, modern ballads employ synthesizer sounds and electronic drumming in addition to acoustic instruments. Our "Thank You" Ballad template is an example of such a combination in an acoustic ballad.
