Bongo Dance - Ableton Template

Fans of Safri Duo music will enjoy the Ableton template " Bongo Dance ".

The duo comprises Uffe Savery and Morten Friis, with "Safri" derived from their surnames. They are longtime friends who earned their music diplomas jointly at the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music. Since 1988, they've been reimagining classical compositions for their percussion-centric music and have showcased their talents worldwide.

Safri Duo breakthrough moment arrived when they transitioned to a dance-oriented style.

Their most significant achievement was with "Played-A-Live (The Bongo Song)," which climbed to the second spot on the German singles chart in 2001 and secured the top position on both the Swiss and Danish charts. In that same year, they performed live during the inaugural ceremony of Gelsenkirchen's Veltins Arena. The duo was also honored with the Echo award for Best International Dance Act in 2002, participated in the Nokia Night of the Proms tour in 2005, and collaborated with an orchestra for several performances during the event.
